I am exceptionally pleased with this year’s theme. It is a story within a story — a curious little Cabinet, filled with treasures and objects gathered over many years.
The Cabinet begins its story in the hands of an elderly Victorian gentleman, before eventually passing to a new member of the family after the long, grey years of war.
And this is where our story really begins.
As its new owner opens each little drawer, she discovers not only the treasures left behind by its original keeper, but the stories attached to them — and begins to add a few treasures of her own.
Over the course of Advent, you’ll discover both stories unfolding together: the story of the Cabinet and its original collection, and the story of the woman who inherits it and makes it her own.
Over 13 magical days, you’ll discover 18 hand-dyed skeins of yarn, inspired by things found, treasured, lost and rediscovered — with a few little wonders appearing along the way.
Gathered Treasures – Keepsake No. 1 & No. 2
A pair of little collections gathered from one-of-a-kind colourways—each one a small treasure in its own right. The two sets have been chosen to sit beautifully together, with the colours mingling and echoing one another without being quite the same.
