Second Pressing is a companion collection to the Paper-Pressed-Ink collection introduced at the Cape Town Yarn Festival. It started life as a small collection of mini skeins, as so many people were disappointed in having missed on a set, and like all good collections. grew organically bigger!

Inspired by winter in the Cape, it draws together the soft colours of mist-covered mountains and rain-darkened earth, but also, weathered linens, and pressed flowers carefully tucked between the pages of a favourite book, as a gentle nod to my stall set up at the festival.

Blush tones, dusty lilacs, faded greens, and earthy browns create a palette that feels both nostalgic and familiar—like opening an old drawer filled with handkerchiefs, embroidery silks, and botanical keepsakes gathered through the seasons. Designed to complement the original festival palette while standing beautifully on its own, I’d like to think that this little collection conjures up images of  a drawer of heirloom linens and treasured keepsakes, each colour  reminiscent of a treasured keepsake
